Hello, sisters. This week, I want us to focus on how our Father is able to comfort and establish our hearts. Do you have a heart that a loving father has established? I hope so. Our Father in Heaven has given our earthly fathers a superhero power, which is the ability to help establish their children’s heart through faith in God.
1 Chronicles 28:9 AMP; “As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your Father ( have personal knowledge of Him, be acquainted with, and understand him; appreciate, heed, and cherish him) and serve Him with a blameless heart and a willing mind.”
As daughters, ideally, a father would establish you first in the Word of God so you would know your chosen worth created by God as a female. He would help you understand your value and what a treasure you are on this earth.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 TPT “Now may the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father God who loved us, and in his wonderful grace gave us eternal comfort and a beautiful hope that cannot fail. Encourage your hearts and always inspire you with the strength to do and speak what is good and beautiful in his eyes.”
Fathers establish our hearts in so many ways with their words of encouragement. When you know you are loved, protected, and believed by your father, the sky is the limit for you. The truth is that regardless of your earthly father, you are loved, protected, and believed in by your Father in heaven. He still believes in the beautiful things he has called you to do, and sisters, all it takes to enter into this promised way of life is for us to believe it’s true. I want to introduce you to a new Hebrew word called “Shalam” (the root word) for shalom. In the simplest form, shalam means Make it Good. For instance, if something was taken from you unjustly when it is returned to you, then the injustice is made good, and you are whole again; this is an example of God’s shalom being worked out in your life. This week, will you join me in believing that our good Father wants to comfort and establish our hearts with His love and Word? Daughter, will you let Your ABBA Father make you whole again? So you can continue to do the beautiful things you were created to do. Your Father believes in you! Rest in that thought this week. See yourself as beautifully whole as He does; in the precious Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
